Linton Blades - Wiesbaden, Germany
10 May 1970
This was Linton Blades first show abroad.
The team left Linton-on-Ouse with their ground crew & Flt.Lt. Alick Nicholson
( unofficial Blades Reserve, Linton Solo aerobatic representative 1970 & Linton Blades '71 pilot & probably commentator for this show ) on 8th May 1970 & flew 1 hr to Valkenburg, Holland.
They then flew another hour, on the same day, from Valkenburg to Wiesbaden, Germany.
No flights were done on the 9th.
On the 10 May a 10 minute "Full" show was done, including landing & taking off in formation in front of the crowd.
The team & crew returned to Linton-on-Ouse on the 11th via Valkenburg and RAF Waddington
