Linton GIN - Peterhead 26 July 1969


Linton GIN flew to RAF Dyce ( Aberdeen ) on 26 July 1969, taking a 5th aircraft ( piloted by John Bishop ) & their ground crew with them. They flew a "Fast Flat" show on the same day at Peterhead ( recorded flight time 40 minutes ). This show was done with 5 aircraft. No height is recorded for the show. After the show they returned to RAF Dyce. The team & ground crew then returned home to Linton-On-Ouse on the same day (26th July).

Dave Waddington's log book shows he had the same ( non-pilot ) passenger with him for the above 3 flights. This is the one of the few Linton GIN shows he flew with a passenger. Unfortunately his log book also shows the passenger threw up ( in the aircraft ) during the display ! :-(
